Most of us were trained on what to assess. Far fewer of us were ever shown how to ask.
This workshop is part teaching, part live clinical demonstration. Professional actors present a composite couples case involving sex therapy disorders and erotic challenges, and we conduct a complete bio-psycho-social-spiritual-sexual assessment in front of you, in real time, question by question, across our five-session model:
Intake
Couples session — the Sexual Status Interview
Individual history — Partner A
Individual history — Partner B
Couples session — bringing it all back together & forming a case conceptualization
This isn't a watch-and-take-notes workshop. As the case unfolds, we stop to unpack our reasoning, why that question, why then, why worded that way, and then hand it to you. You'll be forming your own hypothesis in real time and watching it shift as new information lands. Because that's what happens in the room: the hypothesis keeps moving, and learning to move with it is the skill.
You'll leave with: the actual language and sequencing for a full sexual assessment, a repeatable five-session structure, and a clearer sense of how to hold a hypothesis loosely while still moving the work forward.
